Pool Repair
|
Everything Swimming Pools is a licensed and insured company striving for 100% customer satisfaction. We have quality Certified Technicians to repair and maintain all of the major brands of pool equipment, salt water systems, automated controls, pool plumbing, and electrical problems. The following information is a bit of insight into the different components of your pool equipment and the common problems that occur.
|
Heaters
Swimming pool and spa heaters can also encounter internal breakdown within the heat exchanger. This breakdown occurrence often appears as staining on the swimming pool or spa’s surface (plaster, pebble, and all other pool or spa surfaces). Because the heat exchanger is made of copper, this staining can show up in a variety of colors. Call or e-mail Everything Swimming Pools to come out and diagnose the stains and see what steps need to be taken to resolve the problem.
Pumps
Swimming pool pumps play a very important role in the circulation of your pool or spa water. There are other contributing factors for good circulation such as the pool filter, the size of the plumbing, and how it is plumbed. Pool pumps have mechanical parts and water tight seals that wear out over time. Signs of this occurring can be pool motors running loudly, leaking from gaskets connecting the pump together, or leaking from the bottom seal that separates the water housing and the motor of the pool pump. All of these problems require repair, and we recommend that these services be performed by a certified technician.
Filter
Swimming pool filters come in a variety of types such as Diatomaceous Earth (D.E.), cartridge, and sand. All of which come with the same types of problems, such as leaks in the plumbing, broken backwash valves, water tight gasket leaks, or cracks in the shell. These problems happen to pool filters due to the environment, age, and the chemicals circulating through them.
Along with exterior problems pool filters also have internal parts that over time need to be replaced. This is a preventative measure ensuring that your swimming pool or spa stays fresh and inviting throughout the year. These parts consist of D.E. filter grids, pool filter cartridges, laterals, manifolds, and water tight gaskets. When internal parts fail you may find algae growing more easily or D.E., sand, or debris returning back to the pool causing it to appear cloudy and uninviting. If you have a sand filter in your residential property we recommend changing the sand every two to three years, or replacing it with a D.E., or cartridge filter. These pool filters remove smaller particles, leaving you with a crystal clear pool or spa.
Please remember that most swimming pool and spa filters need to be cleaned on a regimen of at least every six months for larger pool filters, and every two to three months for smaller pool filters. Everything Swimming Pools offers all of these services at competitive pricing. If you are in need of these swimming pool services call or e-mail us today and we would be happy to help. |

Automated Controls / Spa Side Remotes
Automation in the pool and spa industry has come a long way in the last several years. Complete control of your swimming pool with automation of all your pool equipment, SAL and SAM lights, waterfalls, and fountains, is now at the touch of your finger tips. This technology is a great addition towards the overall enjoyment of your swimming pool; however, occasionally things do go wrong. There are certain components that will fail over time such as relays, temperature sensors, pc boards, and other internal electronics. If you are having problems with your automated controls, these components should be diagnosed by a certified, trained technician, ensuring that the work is being performed safely and correctly the first time.
Spa side remotes are for the operation of pool and spa equipment while relaxing in the spa. The different remotes all basically do the same thing. Similar problems occur such as buttons not operating, or pool functions going on and off sporadically throughout the day. These are signs that the remote is failing and needs to be replaced or possibly upgraded, dependant on the age of the remote.
Salt Water Systems
Salt water swimming pool systems are an inexpensive way to insure your pool and spa are being properly sanitized at a consistent level in comparison to manual chlorination. These systems work extremely well and need minimal maintenance to keep them operating at peak performance. All salt water swimming pool systems need to have the salt cells inspected or cleaned at least every three to four months depending on the calcium buildup. Also, they occasionally need to be calibrated to insure that the system is reading the level of salt in the pool correctly, enabling it to produce the proper amount of sanitizer. The average life expectancy of the cell depends on the level of chlorine production being maintained along with care of the cell itself. When the cell fails, it stops producing chlorine, making replacement necessary.
Pool and Spa Lighting
Pool and spa lights are at a constant risk for problems. Light gaskets can leak over time allowing water to make contact with the electrical components of the light causing the bulb to fail. Typically in this situation a new bulb and gasket can be installed to solve this problem. Additionally, a faulty light gasket can seep water which over time can cause corrosion inside the pool or spa light fixture. The only solution in this situation is to replace the entire fixture. Call Everything Swimming Pools to properly inspect and repair your swimming pool or spa lights.
Automatic Pool Cleaners
Automatic pool cleaners allow your pool to stay clean between maintenance visits. Over time, the constant movement of the cleaner will wear down components of the unit. Replacing worn parts allows for optimum functioning and prolongs the life of your swimming pool vacuum. Call Everything Swimming Pools today to have us give you a quote for the repairs needed for your current cleaner. If it is more cost effective to replace, we will quote you the price of a new swimming pool vacuum.

When we purchased our house, the pool needed lots of work. We spoke with several companies and almost all recommended we remodel, until we found Everything Swimmming Pools. They suggested to acid wash the plaster and clean and repair the pool tile. For a fraction of what we were quoted for remodeling, our pool now looks great. Their staff was easy to work with and professional. I will recommend Everything Swimming Pools to all my friends.

I want to thank the guys at Everything Swimming Pools. After having another company acid wash my pool, the plaster was really rough. The kids kept scraping their feet and snagging their bathing suits. I was a little hesitant to do anything more, until I talked with Kevin. He assured me that polishing the pool would smooth out the surface, making it feel like new again. I am totally sold now!

Being the middle of summer, I didn’t want to have to go without my pool for any length of time, but the stone coping around my pool was becoming really dangerous. The stones were wobbly, and I was afraid that someone was going to fall. Everything Swimming Pools was able to come out and fix the pool in an afternoon. Cory Moore
